"Extremely Disappointed with State Farm – Would NOT Recommend

I have been a State Farm client for 8 years, and I am beyond frustrated with their handling of my claim. We've been dealing with a hail damage claim for over 2 years, and State Farm has not upheld their responsibility. Despite two reputable roofing companies confirming damage that should be covered by insurance, State Farm failed to send an actual agent to assess the damage. Instead, they sent an out-of-state third party who, unsurprisingly, denied the claim. It feels like this was a deliberate attempt to avoid paying out.

To make matters worse, State Farm offered to replace the metal roof on our detached garage for hail damage but claimed there was no hail damage on our shingled roof. Our shingles are from 2010 and have since been discontinued—repairing them is no longer an option, and State Farm is refusing to replace them. It’s incredibly disheartening to see how they've handled this.

We have been loyal clients for many years, but at this point, it’s clear that State Farm is more focused on protecting their own interests than taking care of their customers. We wish we could join a class action lawsuit, as this has been an ongoing battle with no resolution in sight. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They do not have their client's best interests at heart."
